With its initiative “Trost spenden” (“Giving comfort”), the non-profit association “Kleine Patienten in Not e.V.” (“Small patients in need”) collects donations to sponsor, among other things, teddy bears for children in hospitals, police and fire stations. The focus is on comforting and helping injured and traumatised young patients in emergencies. “Benny – the comfort Bear” was created for this purpose. He is supposed to give the children a feeling of security in these situations, as often the parents cannot be on site immediately.
Especially in difficult times, such as during the Corona pandemic, Ralph Wendling, chairman of the association, is grateful for every donation. Because it is still important to support children in need.
