This time, Dr. Norbert Hiller can be seen as an environmental expert in a short film about the company Vaude. The short film is about the management of the company by Antje von Dewitz, who has been managing director of the outdoor outfitter since 2009. It shows which strict sustainability regulations Vaude is subject to in order to obtain certification. It is well illustrated that almost all products of Vaude are bio-based, made of natural or recycled materials.
Vaude is a member of the Fair Wair Foundation; this ensures that the social standards are also respected in production sites abroad. The topic of integration also plays an important role in the company, because “integration is important, however, it is also very exhausting”, says managing director Antje von Dewitz.
It is also ensured that women are strengthened at the workplace. Together with the city, a children’s house was created, as well as the possibility of working part-time and in the home office.
